And so does the semester come to an end. 5 months in Denmark. 5 months living in a small, peaceful Danish town with an absolutely crazy university campus. Magnificent international friends, challenging group projects, insane parties, adventures, bonfires, bbqs, walks, roadtrips & travels. I have been to each end of this small country, seen all the biggest cities and some uncanny natural landscapes.
It is impossible to sum up the whole experience in just a few sentences, I have so many things to write but once I start to put words together I just can't. It's the same thing that happens when you say farewell to your friends and you want to say things but just can't assemble your thoughts. 5 months of hanging out with the same people in the same places is enough to create bonds and get attatched. Even though Horsens was not the most ideal place in the world, it was small and not vibrant enough, the Danish weather also left us unsatisfied most of the time. But all of that didn't matter that much in the end as overally it was just brilliant. The goodbyes were sad and emotional, even though we say that "it's not a goodbye, but just a see-you-later". All of us have lots of hope for that!
We are all stories in the end, yes, but that one was a damn good one.
I have taken 23 GB of photos taken in Denmark only. I have decided to do a masterpost of casual shots of Horsens I have shot for last three months. You can see how Denmark changed and brightened up as spring and summer came, and I can promise that so have we on the opposite side of the camera.
Enjoy!
