35mm

I turned to analogue photography relativly late in my photography adventure. I started to shoot film only around late January 2017. It's much more challenging than digital photography, and actually taught me a lot.

GEAR

PRAKTICA SUPER TL 2

This camera is very precious to me, the first analogue I got. I purchased it for about 50zl (11 EUR) on a Polish website where people sell their stuff. I had completely no idea what was I buying, totally unfamiliar with analogue cameras and relying on advice given by my friend who was working with them before. I was not dissapointed. It shot perfectly, with astonishing vivid colours and great details.

Unfortunately, I broke it down recently. Rest in peace, dear friend.

ZENIT TTL

This guy is absolutely crazy. I bought this camera rather accidentally because I was looking for a Helios lens and i found one set with the lens and this zenit body. Apparently it was used quite a lot, looking worn out but not that bad. The seller said it was still working, so I trusted him. He was not lying, it does work. But it does really psychodelic distortions on the colours and such or burns off the edges of the frames. I haven't figured it out what's going on with it, but i would lie if i said i did not like it and it wasn't entertaining.

For the lenses I use:

- Pentacon 50mm 1:1.8
- Helios 58mm 1:2
- MIR 37mm 1:2.8
- Travenar 135mm 1:2

I mostly use two first ones, both on analogue and digital bodies. Helios is brilliant when it comes to sharpness, it's just outstanding even on apperture fully open. Pentacon however likes to blur stuff a little, but it bothers me only with digital shots.
